Mina Taheri
holds RYT200 (Registered Yoga Teacher 200 hour)
designation from Yoga Alliance
I was born in September 1982 in Tehran. I graduated in interior design and architecture in 2007.
I was honored to commence learning yoga at Niloufar School of Yoga in 2002.
Like other teenagers, during my adolescence and in the face of the world, many questions occupied my mind and I was engaged in knowing the deeper meaning of existence and myself. I noticed a lot of bewilderment in my mind and did not know how to deal with various emotions, such as anger or jealousy. Until I was acquainted with yoga at the best time and realized that, I can find the answers to all my questions in yoga, especially in Niloufar School of Yoga classes, and this is the way to relieve all bewilderments.
Over time, I realized more and more that yoga introduces us to a way of life that we can take advantage of it in all aspects of our lives. This is why I wanted to share this knowledge with my friends and others. For this reason, I participated in yoga training courses at Niloufar School to follow the knowledge in deep.
I participated in two yoga-training courses of Niloufar School, and I held yoga classes from 2006 to 2011 in Iran to share this knowledge with others.
Thanks to my teacher, after passing the training course at the International School, I was honored to obtain an international coaching degree. Since January 2019, I have been proud to teach in the Netherlands, in Rotterdam and The Hague, and shared my learnings from Niloufar International Yoga School with other dear Iranians communities in the Netherlands.
With the support of friends from the Netherlands and Iran throughout the Corona era, we continued training online together. Thank God, from May 1401, with the improvement of the society and the reduction of the number of patients with the disease, I started training again in person in the hall of the municipal neighborhood in the center of Rotterdam, and at the request of the participants, practiced on Saturdays. It will be held from 11:30 to 12:45.
Please call 0684511239 for coordination to attend the class.

One of the things I have experienced while training yoga content to others is that it makes me learn better, improve my patience and my relationships with others. Focusing on my words and heart while teaching helps me to understand people through my heart and with more love so that I can convey to them what they need in the best way.
Sitting practices on a chair, online during quarantine
Yoga physical practices or asanas are designed to fit the physical condition of the participants, these practices are sometimes sitting, standing or lying down. They can even be done on a chair if needed.
Yoga in the nature
Nature and animals are of my main interests. Nature can be of great help in bringing us closer to the essence of our being. I love animals very much. They are like a member of my family and I learn a lot from them. Through observing their behavior and their focus on their five senses, I practice living the moment and being honest.

Translation, a new experience
During the Corona period, at the suggestion and suggestion of the director of the Niloufar Yoga School, Ms. Niloufar Yazdanshenas, I started translating a book for the Niloufar Yoga Lovers and Graduated Society. Since last year, I have been trying to translate this book on how yoga exercises are suitable for people with Parkinson’s and MS written by Jean Danford, with my limited knowledge of English into sweet Persian. Since my father had Parkinson’s and I witnessed the problems and the process of the disease closely for many years, I gladly accepted the dear teacher’s offer so that this would be a small step for the joy of my father’s soul. Hope this book is helpful for dear educators interested in helping Parkinson’s and MS patients.
